Solvent Conditioning
One of the main functions of the Smartline Manager is to control the eluent flow to the pumping system. The unit can be configured with various degassing and low pressure gradient control valve modules. The design of the system allows for optimum tubing layout while maintaining the necessary short connections paths.
Interface Card
For additional system control functions the module can be fitted with an interface card for direct control of non-Knauer devices via analogue and relay outputs..
Degasser
The integrated degasser module uses a newly developed micro vacuum pump and a novel fluoropolymer instead of the conventional ptfe membranes. This permits a significant reduction of the dead-volume of the degasser and improved convenience when changing eluents etc.
Gradient Module
The low pressure gradient module uses a valve block made of PEEK material and is thus suitable for practically any application, particularly in the biotechnolgy sector.
Simple to use
The module can be controlled either by the pump unit as a stand-alone module or using our Geminyx software. Versions of Geminyx are also available, which conform to the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
